THE FLATLANDER FESTIVAL is a 24 year Western Kansas event based on community hospitality, hometown pride and spirit which has become an annual event attracting apox. 10,000 people.
The festival joins together different community groups, each holding seperate events, over a three day period in Goodland KS. The Flatlander Festival Committee cordinates the weekend into the Premeire Event of Western Kansas and the Tri-State Area.
GOODLAND, KANSAS is located on interstate 70, 17 miles from the Colorado border and 50 miles from the Nebraska border. Participants come from many states and involve themselves in activities as the Festival takes over down town Main Street.
The Festival is all about Fun, Food and Entertainment.

8 am - Flatlander 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run
10 am | Chili Cook Off ( 12th & Main)
10 am - 4 pm | Street Festival (Vendors, Food, and Games)
10 am - 4 pm | Brick Top Cruisers Car Club Show
10 am - 4 pm | Northwest Kansas Bike Show
10 am - 10 pm | Beer Garden
11am - 12 pm | Scruffy Dog Contest (On the Grandstand)
12 pm - 4 pm | Talent Contest / Live Music on the Grand Stand
3 pm | 6 pm - Colorado Tractor Pullers Association Benefit Pull
4:30 pm | Stock Car Races (Sherman County Speedway)
Sunday:
11am | 4:00pm | Picnic in the Park (Chambers Park) - Live Music, Free Food, Games and Vendors
12 pm | Drawing for Harley Davidson Motorcycle
